Needle therapy is also known as foam therapy. It is applied to capillaries (vessels with a diameter of 1-3 mm) and reticular veins (veins that are larger than capillaries and have a diameter of 3-4 mm in green appearance), known as telangiectasia. It is performed in the examination room and does not require anesthesia. The procedure takes 60-90 minutes. After the procedure, compression stockings are worn and the patient can return to daily life immediately. The duration and number of treatment sessions may vary depending on the patient's clinic.
